My name is, Katie Jo, and this is my husband, Jeff.  We have two daughters, Hailee Jane and Addison Rae.  I am the founder and creator of Red Roan Signs, LLC.

Red Roan Signs is a hand made custom wood sign business dedicated to providing quality signs for your home or business. 

I started making signs as a hobby for decoration within our home is 2014. I have always been very good at creating and designing. I came to a point where I wanted to be able to provide for our family as well as be a stay at home mom. 

In the beginning, this seemed impossible and just a dream but With a lot of work and patience, this business has flourished and enabled me to be creative and fulfill that dream. I could not be any more thankful and blessed for this opportunity.

My husband, Jeff, helps to cut and put together signs as well as teaching me new ways of building and making the process better.  Hailee and Addison help with staining the wood and packaging orders.  Last, the girls’ grandma, “Nama,” helps with putting together shipping boxes and staining.  So in many ways this is not a one woman owned business but a family business as well.

When I first began thinking of the potential this hobby could become I knew that I wanted to go for rustic and not perfect, streamlined products.  So the horse with the coloring of “Red Roan” came to mind because no two Red Roan horses look the same, their coloring is unique and rustic.  This became the basis of Red Roan Signs.  Over the years, I have been able to perfect my craftsmanship and build this business into what it is today.
